NubiYouth hosted their 3rd Annual Basketball Tournament in Arlington, VA on Saturday, October 8th! The event was a huge success as young Nubian men from the DMV (Washington D.C., Maryland, and Virginia) area came together once again to compete for the winning title and a $250 cash prize. The DMV Nubian community also showed up in full force to watch the event and enjoy some refreshments.
During halftime, the entire crowd participated in some half court shot competitions. Congratulations to Ahmed Abdelmaguid and Ali Idris for winning those competitions. The yellow team fought hard and emerged victorious this year, earning themselves the championship title. Congratulations to them for their hard work and dedication!
