Sisters' Taraweeh Night: An Evening of Reflection

During the holy month of Ramadan, NubiYouth hosted a special event for our sisters in the community. The Sisters' Taraweeh Night on Friday, April 7th, 2023 was a chance for women of all ages to come together and pray Isha and Taraweeh prayer.

Sisters from all over the community joined together in prayer, creating a sense of unity and togetherness that is essential to the spirit of Ramadan. After prayer, the group gathered for a halaqa on the proper way to make dua. The speakers, which were sisters from the Nusuki group, shared their knowledge and wisdom with the ladies, emphasizing the importance of intention, sincerity, and gratifying Allah when making dua.

The halaqa was followed by a time of reflection and discussion, where sisters shared their own experiences and insights. The night provided an opportunity for women to connect with one another and build a sense of community, which is especially important during the holy month of Ramadan.

Ramadan is a time for reflection, prayer, and community, and the Sisters' Taraweeh Night embodied all of these values. We are proud to have provided a space for our sisters to come together and connect with one another during this holy month. Thank you for your support, and we look forward to seeing you at our future events. Ramadan Mubarak!
