When COVID-19 devastated Aswan and spread through the community, many hospitals faced depleted resources and lacked the tools to safely treat their patients. There was a significant increase in COVID-19 within the Aswan villages. Nasr Al Nouba Central Hospital was one of the region's primary treatment institutions combating the spread of COVID-19. Doctors were on the forefront risking their lives due to the lack of resources and support.
We were able to assist by providing medics with the resources they needed to treat COVID-19 patients. We sponsored sanitization services to uphold a clean and safe environment, personal protective gear for hospital employees, and treatments for sick patients unable to afford what the doctors were recommending.
