We are thrilled to announce that, with the support of our kind donors, NubiYouth was able to raise over $800 in just 7 days and distribute over 80 winter blankets to families in need in Aswan, Egypt. The distribution was made possible thanks to the dedicated efforts of Yusra and Rania, two of our board members from the DMV area, who joined the distribution team on the ground in Aswan.
Yusra and Rania visited several villages in the Aswan region, including Gharb Soheil, Gharb Aswan, Calapsha, and Nasser. They were met with overwhelming gratitude and appreciation from the families they met, who were struggling to stay warm during the harsh winter months.
